Call for Projects - FFY 2011 and 2012

SACOG and Caltrans are announcing a call for projects for the following grant programs:

Section 5316 - Job Access Reverse Commute

  • Estimated funding for the Sacramento Urbanized Area is $910,000
  • The JARC application window is now closed.
JARC Applications received February 10, 2012: The applications are being reviewed for JARC program eligibility. Application scores will be posted once all applications are confirmed to be eligible for the program.

Section 5317 - New Freedom

  • Estimated funding for the Sacramento Urbanized Area is $500,000
  • The New Freedom application window is now closed.
New Freedom Applications received February 10, 2012:

The applications are being reviewed for New Freedom program eligibility. Application scores will be posted once all applications are confirmed to be eligible for the program.

Section 5310 - Elderly and Disabled Specialized Transit Program

Caltrans has released a FFY 2012 Call for Projects based on estimated funding for projects throughout California. Please refer to the linked documentation for more information.

  • Estimated funding for California is $13,000,000.
  • 5310 Application due date to SACOG is 4 p.m. March 11, 2013. Any applications received after the due date and time will not be considered.
  • Additional Information

Applicants please note that you must submit an original application including all signatures, appendices and attachments, one photocopy, and two electronic copies (i.e., CDs, flash drives, etc.) to SACOG by 4 PM on March 11, 2013. The entire application and all appendices must be included in the electronic copies.

*Applicants please note that SACOG is the Coordinated Plan Lead Agency for the SACOG six county, 22 city region with the exception of the rural portion of El Dorado County as defined by the Census 2000. SACOG will complete Coordinated Plan Certification after all applications are received, though applications will only be certified if they are received by the due date/time.
