Board Access

At its January and February meetings the Board of Directors:

• APPROVED a federal legislative advocacy strategy to continue to seek rail relocation funds for the Intermodal Station; and pursue discretionary funding for rail projects, bus replacements, and Blueprint- supporting projects;
• HONORED Nancy Kays for her 18 years of service to SACOG;
• Participated in a workshop studying eight corridors in the Metropolitan Transportation Plan for 2035;
• RELEASED a revised list of recommended projects for the 2006 STIP Augmentation and other regional programming;
• APPROVED revised apportionment of Sacramento County Local Transportation Funds for 2006-07 and approved the findings of apportionment for 2007-08; and
• Participated in workshops on Phase 2 of the Regional Goods Movement Study and the Metropolitan Transportation Plan Public Attitude Results.
