Board Actions

At its October, November and December meetings the Board of Directors:

• Elected El Dorado County Supervisor Rusty Dupray as the 2007 SACOG Board Chair and Lincoln Councilmember Tom Cosgrove as Vice- Chair;
• Accepted the Draft Final Elk Grove-Rancho Cordova-El Dorado Connector Technical Report, acknowledged the work program has been completed, concluded the charge of the PAC, and submitted it to the local jurisdictions for future phases of the project;
• Approved time extensions for State Transportation Improvement Program Projects;
• Approved Transportation Development Act Claims for Elk Grove, West Sacramento and the Yolo County Transportation District;
• Approved a contract to develop three dimensional computer models and planning application software;
• Amended the 2007/09 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program;
• Nominated projects for the Proposition 1B Corridor Mobility Improvement Program to the California Transportation Commission;
• Supported the Partnership for Prosperity Clean Energy Initiative; and
• Participated in a workshop regarding development of the Metropolitan Transportation Plan for 2035, discussed next steps with the passage of Proposition 1B, and the East County U.S. 50 Mobility Study.
