MTP2035 is more than another government report--it is a crucial map that shows how we invest $42 billion in our transportation system over the next 28 years. A requirement for federal and state transportation investments in our region, the MTP is updated every four years to adjust for growth in population, jobs and housing. Considering a host of $42 billion in potential transportation investments to support smart growth in our region was the collaborative work of 16 community workshops between February and June of 2006, the TALL Order forum on November 16, 2006, the TV Town Hall on January 31, 2007, and public comments on the draft project list.

SACOG's Board of Directors released the Draft MTP on October 29, 2007. The Comment period runs from November 5 to December 20, 2007. Their will also be a public hearing on November 29, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. at SACOG. During the comment period, anyone can submit comments by phone, by mail, or by fax (916-321-9551). Visit the MTP2035 homepage for more information.

If you have any questions about the plan, staff contacts can be found under Contact Us. If you would like to schedule a presentation on the MTP2035 for your organization, please send your request to presentations@sacog.org.
