Notice of Public HearingRequest for Comment on Amendment to the SACOG MTIPThe Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) will hold a public hearing to review Draft Amendments #26, #27, and #28 to the 2009/12 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program (MTIP) and accompanying air quality conformity documents. The hearing will be held at 10 a.m., February 4, 2010, during the Transportation Committee meeting at SACOG, 1415 L Street, Suite 300, Sacramento CA. The purpose of these amendments is to program Fall Programming Round and Jobs for Main Street Act 2010 projects. The MTIP is the short-range transportation program for the SACOG region, which includes the counties of Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, Yuba, and portions of El Dorado and Placer County. Please comment in writing to the above address or offer testimony in person during the public hearing. Copies will be available online beginning January 28 at www.sacog.org, or can be requested by e-mailing jcaceres@sacog.org or by calling (916) 340-6218. In addition, copies are available at the SACOG office at the above address. Please direct your written comments to José Luis Cáceres. Written comments are welcome through 5 p.m., February 10, 2010. This public hearing process is being used to meet the public participation requirements for the Federal Transit Administration's Program of Projects. |
